Tsunami in Penang

We were thankful to Allah because we came out of Penang Island 1/2 hour before tsunami came crushing on Ferringhi beach, where we had stayed in Copthorne Orchid Hotel for two nights.

Annual Review 2004

Mr Don Cameron, the School's Research Coordinator has noted that my PhD candidate annual review for 2004 has been submitted to him on 23/12/04. The reason of this delay was due to the distance of separation between Malaysia and Australia. The statement of agreement was also similarly behind, although it was almost completed.

Into. to the Uni by RDC

Mr. Don Cameron, the Research Degree coordinator (RDC), came to see me at 10:30 am in my room at Building H for about 30 mins. He introduced me to the School of Natural and Built Environments, research qualities, PORTIA, and other general areas of interest.

We noted that the principal supervisor are away until next week. Meeting next week will be between the candidate and Ian Clark and Barb Koth? He noted that I would be given access to PORTIA.
